Celebrate your wedding, anniversary or family occasion in the grounds of Place, with the River Fowey below and the carved stone of the house all around you.
The house itself is an intimate family home, so our celebrations take place outdoors and under canvas. A marquee on the main terrace welcomes up to 150 guests, while the small enclosed garden is perfect for more intimate gatherings of up to 60.
Every event at Place is shaped around you, from local chefs and Cornish produce to music in the gardens. Please get in touch to talk through your plans.
Plays at Place
On summer evenings the gardens become an open-air theatre. Bring a picnic, a chair and a blanket, and enjoy Shakespeare, Gilbert & Sullivan and more against the backdrop of the house and the church tower.
