Art Workshop
We are delighted to announce our inaugural Art Workshop Day at Place on Sunday 26 July 2026, led by acclaimed local marine wildlife artist Rachael Farrar.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the River Fowey, the historic house and gardens of Place provide an inspiring and tranquil setting for creative work. This workshop is designed for artists of all abilities. Whether you are looking to refine your watercolour technique, explore new approaches, or simply enjoy painting, you will be in an exceptional environment to develop your skills.
The day will begin at 10.00am with coffee and biscuits, followed by the first session from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Lunch will be served in the renowned Porphyry Hall. The afternoon session will run from 1.45pm to 3.45pm, concluding with tea, cake, and a relaxed opportunity to share and reflect on the day’s work.
All refreshments and art materials are included in the fee of £135 per person.
Places are limited to just twelve participants, ensuring a personalised and attentive experience.
